What you can learn at University...

OK for the non University folks amongst us.Lets start at the beginning, your RING finger is the one next to your little finger and your INDEX finger is the one next to your thumb.
Researchers at Cambridge University have just completed a scientific study of these two fingers and heres there results.
People who's Ring finger is longer than their index finger, make the most money if they work in the City ( London's financial district )
Fascinating eh ?
Belgian researches have also discovered that people the other way around, i.e  those with shorter ring fingers gave away the most money. And its the same with women as with men apparently.
Ok Ok before you rush off to check the finger sizes of your partners and your up and coming wee ones. Ask yourself this ?
Why are we allowing our University students to study subjects like this...
You'd thing there were enough problems in the world that need people to be doing scientific studies and research into,things like Aids Cancers whatever.
But ain't it good to know that there are folks who will be getting their Degrees and future well paid jobs by working in important fields like this.
And as to the weight of these findings its heartening to know that these results are based on the exhaustive studies of..... er 44 men working as Financial Traders...
So for my own non University styled study this morning...involving 10 independent school children as observed through my window as they were walking to school revealed...
Folks who wore trainers were more likely to kick a tin can as they walked ( especially if they were male ) than those who wore leather shoes.
Females are the noisiest of the species
Most folk are dark haired
There's a complete shortage of trouser belts in 2009
