The Judges of the Cafe Choice Award are pleased to announce the presentation of this highly rated award, as follows :

"Shades of Blue"






From the Judges:

There can be fewer simpler objects to photograph than a flower.  A little skill and technical ability is all that is required to give a pleasing image. To raise that image to one that is very capable of winning this award, takes great  photographic skill and an eye to see beyond the actual subject. The visual impact of this image is superb, it hits the viewer full in the face. The powerful color, selective focusing and composition, raises the image above the normal. In blunt terms it has that WOW factor that is hard to describe, but is instantly recognized by anyone who views it.
An image the Judges were please to have the opportunity to view discuss and enjoy.

It has class written all over it, a worthy contender for the Award, born out by the fact it was unanimously endorsed and accepted by the Judges.

Congratulations to the Photgrapher.... John Edwards!

This is a fine example of well controlled photography and a worthy winner.  The judges applaud the winner.

They've not turned up yet Brian. I thought they had arrived in the post this morning but it was just a couple of CD's from some government department with 25 million names and bank account details.
