PHOTO OF THE WEEK~August 27th to September 2nd

"Brass and Iron"

by jane_t
Thumb Up

This is what Jane says about your POTM decision:
"Thank you for all the votes and for the award of POTW.

Brass and Iron was taken on the SS Great Britain which is dry docked in Bristol.   It was taken on my small Lumix TZ60 and I was really pleased at the way the camera handled the tricky lighting and the fact that the cranks were moving albeit slowly.  I did take several in quick succession, but felt the shapes on this one with the relative positions of the brass was the best.

I then post processed the photo in Lightroom using one of Trey's Lightroom presets with the wonderful name of "Gritty Gritty Pop Pop" to bring out the textures and give the image more impact."

CONGRATULATIONS jane_t!

Photographers should never fall out over a small TIFF.
