PHOTO OF THE WEEK~July 2nd to July 8th

"Where Poppies Blow"

by jane_t
Thumb Up

This reply was received from Jane:
"'Where the poppies blow' was taken at the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield.  It's a great place to visit.  The memorial poppy field is wonderful at the moment and I took quite a few shots, some landscape and some closer in.   I saw the clump of Poppies against the yellow and blues and got down low to concentrate on them, using a reasonably high F-stop to try and keep some detail in the background.

Thanks so much for the votes and the honour of Photo of the Week."

Thanks for the votes for my Poppies image and my runners up.  Well done to Highcloud and Chocky on their runners up.
