Just a shot in the dark here, after trying everything else-- idiot2

I have a Nikon SC50, old by todays standards I suppose, but had it before I got a cell phone so I keep it around. Smiley

The problem is, everything works -- except--- it doesn't record the photo. You can see the photo in the review, but it doesn't show up when SD card is downloaded. HuhHuh

Anyone have a clue?? I will say, the camers got wet some time ago, but I dried it off, and let it air dry for a LONG period of time. No AIr Was blown into it. Just hoping for an good answer here. It is reeally too old to send in for repair, even if I knew where to send it. I expect any repairs would cost many times what it is worth-- Maybe someone has an easy answer----

We are getting to leave on another long trip, and I have found having a P&S handy can be a good thing--

THANKS for any help. Smiley
Best,
J. R.

Just a quick thought, have you tried a different card in it?

The most likely answer is that you have got the default storage location set to the camera's internal memory.
First thing to do is change the settings so that it defaults to recording to memory card.
Second thing is to find the menu option to 'move' the images to the card.

Al- not sure I have those settings, but will look and see if I can figure it out--THANKS!!!!! Smiley  It seems that when I reformat the card it still says it is a D80 when put in the card reader??
