Photo Parade is a feature of the Cafe where we occasionally highlight a member's work that is displayed in their gallery on our site.  This Parade is a special edition to celebrate the work of our dear friend and Cafe proprietor, Pat. She is the founder of the Cafe which was launched in 2006. We do hope that you will enjoy viewing samples of her very varied images as shown in the following post. We know that you'll tell us which is your personal favourite and why, and please congratulate her.  Group Wave

Pat's Gallery

For over 10 years, Pat has nurtured and managed the Cafe through many up and downs and immense changes in on-line technology. During this time, many hundreds of photographers have entered the Cafe, supped well and left refreshed. Some have stayed, enjoying the fellowship of the camera and worked hard to keep the Cafe as a 'going concern'.

We all owe a huge debt to Pat and this little gallery is offered as a thank you. Please take some time to view and appreciate her work. We would love to hear which of Pat's photos here and in her gallery is your personal favourite and why!  Just post below and also you could leave her your best wishes and a comment or two please?

Thumb Up

A hard decision but I think I like the Hoar Frost picture best - it looks so clean, and cool, and crisp. I also love the way Pat frames her photos it gives them such a 'finished' feel. Of course it goes without saying that the technical aspect of her photography is perfect.

I love the Pelican image - so difficult to get that sharp in motion.

I agree that this collection displays how Pat takes time and care about putting a frame around each one.

As usual, I don't have a single favorite.  For humor, "Got a Tissue?" and "Doing the Two-Step Polka" take the honors.  I also like "Geordie" for its emotional warmth and the technical execution of "Dew on the Mornining Glory" and "Pelican at Navarre Beach."

Super set of Images Pat, terrific phot parade. The one that made me chuckle was 'Doing The Two-Step Polka' but all of them are really great well taken shots.
