Buenos Aires in Argentina
In January, 2014, I visited Argentina.
On January 21, I arrived at Buenos Aires and did city sightseeing.
At first, I visited the Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron(Evita) sleeps.
Casa Rosada is the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina.
At my lunch, tenderloin steak of 300 grams was offered, and it was very delicious,
but it was too much for me.
After lunch, I visited Caminito where Argentine Tango was born.

I made the mistake. It is not in 2004 but in 2014 that I visited Argentina.

Ushuaia
On January 22nd, I visited Ushuaia from BuenosAires.
Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego, in Argentina.
It is commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world.
Ushuaia is located in a wide bay on the southern coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego,
bounded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel.
I should have cruised in Beagle Channel by sightseeing ship,
but was not able to do it because my airplane was delayed.
But I appreciated King crab at a restaurant,
and I looked at Beagle Channel and the Martial mountain range
from my room of the hotel and enjoyed it.

What a lovely city!   I fixed your date in the first post Sachiko!

How long were you there?  Can you speak Spanish?

Pat, thank you very much for your comment.
I participated in the group tour to Argentina which a tour company planned. Though regrettable, I cannot speak Spanish.

We stayed in Argentina for ten days, and also visited the glacier in Patagonia and Iguacu Falls.

The glaciers in Patagonia 1

On January 23, I went to El Calafate by airplane from Buenos Aires,
took the catamaran in the Alsen Tino lake in the Los Glaciares National Park,
 and enjoyed the glacier cruise.

Hatter, Chocky, thank you very much for your comments.
I was able to enjoy the Perito Moreno glacier by glacial nearness. I was impressed very much while I was surprised at glacial crash.

Sachiko, have you been to Canada?  Just wondering if you've seen Niagara Falls here in Ontario.
