Photo Parade is a feature of the Cafe where we highlight a member's work that is displayed in their gallery on our site. This Parade features a tiny selection of the tremendous images by our dear friend and Cafe Moderator, Ross Blakey.
We do hope that you will enjoy viewing them as shown in the following post. We know that you'll tell us which is your personal favourite and why, and please congratulate Ross.

What amazes me about this collection is the variety and there is something different yet special about each one.
"A Bit of Yellow" is the one that stands out most to me.

These are great examples of Ross's work. What comes over to me is that somehow he is able to share the joy that he gets from seeing things himself - and he is not afraid to try out different things either. I find his images very inspiring. Early Morning Serenity stands out with the intensity of colour and excellent composition - but on another day any of these could be favourites! Super stuff.

'Misty Run' is my favourite here, I just love the stories it conjures up in my mind. The tones bring a timeless quality so it could be smugglers at work in the 17th century rather than a bunch of togs on a trip in the 21st.
All of these shots are special though, 'A Touch of Yellow' is superb and I haven't seen 'Early Morning Serenity' before but it is a super image.
Great stuff, Ross!

I recognize several of these as past POTDs. Of the ones I don't remember, Las Vegas Aria really intrigues me as an abstract. By the way, those aren't terns; they're geese.

Misty Run for me but what a varied set and all of them spot on...the mark off a man who knows what he is doing and using his photographic skills to his advantage.

Inspiring photos. I really like Misty Run. Great photo, but is also evocative of 'Great Expectations' and of the film directed by David Lean.
