Photo Parade is a feature of the Cafe where we highlight a member's work that is displayed in their gallery on our site. This Parade features some of the very striking images from garrysmith75's album.
We do hope that you will enjoy viewing them as shown in the following post. We know that you'll tell us which is your personal favourite and why, and please congratulate Garry.

Congratulations on being Paraded Garry! I love the light and the sky in Newton shore 2 but my favourite of this selection has to be Tunnel Vision-how or why I missed it in the Gallery I do not know!

Yes - it is the sky in "Newton shore" that is most impressive and the image stands out for that reason.
A very interesting set of images.

I am more partial to "Tunnel Vision" and "Tree nr Balvaird Castle." The apparent simplicity of "Tunnel Vision" is deceptive. I would venture to say that most photographers would pass such a scene by; but the repeated circular arcs, the river of black, and the trail of lights at the top make for an abstract that fairly jumps with three-dimensionality. That tree near Balvaird Castle is just dripping with character and the composition is just about perfect. The two Newton Shore shots are also standouts for me, particularly number 2 because of the combination of the green accents in an otherwise brown foreground and the long shadows.
