What an odd-looking insect, especially the probiscis. And sharp too, with detail in all the important places. Not easy to do with such a small and lively subject. Kudos!

It is very odd it's a sort of hoverfly ( a true fly) and feeds on nectar

The Bombyliidae are a family of flies. Their common name is bee flies. Adults generally feed on nectar and pollen, some being important pollinators. Larvae generally are parasitoids of other insects.
