I am wondering if this which looks like a 5 spot Burnet moth is really a six spot spot Burnet moth with a spot folded under it's wings at the top?
Most 5 spot Burnets I have seen in photos have the large spot at the other end of the wing.

Its a six spot burnet, the five spot has three in a group + two higher up, this one has four in a group, and two higher(one hidden)

I was hoping you would look into it. It was so still. I had many shots but all the same and have never found a photo of a 5 spot like this. All have like you say. Sort of like the other way round really and and three in a group with the one spot at the end
