We're Open for Voting!
HDR Challenge The HDR Challenge is intended for people who enjoy the area of High Dynamic Range imaging or would like to learn more about it. HDR imaging uses special processing and often multiple exposures to achieve its results.
This is where we share our images and encourage all our members to vote for the ones they enjoy most.

Here's our HDR Mini Challenge for you all.
HDR Challenge #11 Details: - - HDR Challenge #11 – A subject of your choice
- As we move into spring (those of us in the Northern hemisphere anyway) the brighter weather and vibrant colours can be a great time to use HDR methods to bring out the brightness and texture in the scenes around us. The best HDR shots are created by using multiple exposures to create clear highlights with lots of detail in the shadows but you can use any HDR or pseudo HDR method you like.
This challenge is completely open to your choice of subject but the main thing is please take new shots for the challenge rather than delving into your archives. It would be good to know what method you used to process the image, how many exposures you used and how many stops apart they were. Details of any further processing would be good to have so that we can all learn from your methods. - Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an off site location that allows linking using the image codes. If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo. If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it. If you aren't sure how to do that, please let us know. If you use the attachment, we'll edit your post for you and post it large for easier viewing. Please do not attach a photo larger than 800 pixels long on the longest side.
- Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.
- Put each entry in a separate post. Please ONLY POST ONE PHOTO PER POST and make sure you put a short title above your photo.
- Please also tell us how many exposures you used, how many stops apart they were and what software you used for the HDR processing as well as any details of further processing if you're willing to share your secrets.
- The challenge is open now for uploading for the 5 weeks. Voting will commence on 25th April 2012
- Please put a title in your post for your photos. We need the title for the poll listing.
Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge. So start posting. Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project! I hope you enjoy this Challenge!
