PHOTO OF THE MONTH
MAY 2011

Summer Time
by Tina
Thumb Up

From Tina

"The image was taken at Holywell Bay in Cornwall in April this year when out for the day with Julie (am I ever not with Me Julie  Grin )
You have to walk over this sand dune to get to the beach, this young lady was walking just ahead of us (and may I say much easier than us two laugh ) so I waited for her to get to a position that I like (which gave me the opportunity to breathe Grin ) and snapped a few shots...
In processing I converted to B&W and adjusted the blue filter for a darker sky and the yellow filter for a slightly brighter sand... Gentle sharpening and square cropped!
I will add that she had her boyfriend with her who didn't seem too happy to be on the beach and was lagging behind her a few steps so I got rid of him cause he spoilt the image  laugh ... x

Cheers
Tina".

CONGRATULATIONS Tina!

What a super choice for Photo of the Month; well done Tina. It really does capture that summery feeling.
