This image was stitched together from ten different shots in an array 2 wide by 5 high. No tripod was used but the camera was rested on a couch cushion beside me and I took some care to keep the spatial position of the nodal point reasonably constant to minimize parallax errors. Exposure, focus, and white balance were set manually to maintain consistency in size, color, and brightness from shot to shot. Camera used was Nikon Coolpix 995 and stitching software was PTAssembler, set to rectilinear mode. Camera was only about 1-1/2 meters from the tree.
