Title: CAMER PROBLEMS -- SOLVED
Post by: Tusker on May 11, 2017, 3:00 PM
A HEADS UP--

Finished copying some slides in the shop and moved everything back upstairs. All of a sudden I started having all sorts of problems. Maybe simple to the more learned but I had never had such problems ever before. Well after much to do I finally nailed it down. Seems most of my batteries have exhausted their life.  :idiot2:  Well new  ones were ordered and problems were solved. Just passing this along. :)

My D7000 is showing Err in card window. I have tried different cards and batteries but no luck.

What has happened to my camera. Does anybody know?

You'll probably not see much change out of 300. It might be more cost effective to buy a new camera or a decent pre-owned one. MPB Photography or Camera Jungle are good for pre-owned and both give a warranty.

Yes.
It seams the D7000 is renowned for the shutter problem.

I think I may go for a new camera but......................which one ?

The trend seems to be towards much smaller cameras. I bought the Sony DSC-HX90V as my carry-everywhere, do-everything camera. It performs well.

Yes. I have a Nikon Coolpix S5100. I carry that usually but have been a bit too poorly just lately. am just getting out and about now. It's not bad. Has 12.3 MGPs VR. just a little point and shoot

I am thinking now of the Nikon d7200 that is going to knock me back close to 800. Plus my printer has packed up as well.

So when my son comes down next week we are going on a spree to PC World. Still have my Nikon D80 to use in the meanwhile

...we are going on a spree to PC World.

Go spend - you can't take it with you.
Get the most fun out of your money.
